Cantonment Board Agra Established in the year 1805. It spreads over an area of 1156.474 hectares which includes civil area of 952.55 acres. Agra cantonment for the municipal and development functions is administered by cantonment board. Apart from the army, the board caters to the civil population of the cantonment numbering more than 42,869 which predominantly lives in various civil areas like sadar Bazar, Naulakha, Shahzadimandi, Sultanpura, Lalkurti, Pratappura, Nai Basti and partly in Bungalow area. |

Agra Cantt Board has recently finished conducting classes for its staff to impart training on Dual Entry Accounting System along with all the versions of TALLY Accounting Software in view of the forth comming project on Accrual based accounting system which will be implemented in all the cantonment board in the due course. |

Agra Cantt has introduced Biometric Attendence System for its employees and also running Samadhan cell for querry redressal system for all perons residing within the juridiction of cantonment board. It has a structured network infrastructure with LAN connection in every table of every room and also a well structured and equally ventillated SERVER ROOM. |

Agra Cantonment Board has recently conducted Shikar Sports meet 2011 in Eklavya Stadium, Agra fro 14 - 16 Oct 2011 . A total of 25 cantonment board teams have participated in this major event. Cantonment Board Agra got the overall champion medal. |
